Brett Turley, Esq.

Brett Turley is a criminal defense lawyer at the Ybarra Maldonado Law Group. He was raised in Arizona and loves it here. Brett is a trial attorney whose practice specializes in all areas of criminal defense with an emphasis on serious felony charges, misdemeanors, and DUI’s. He has been representing individuals in criminal and civil matters for over 23 years.

Originally from Arizona, Brett relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He then moved to Denver, Colorado, earning his law degree from the University of Denver, College of Law. Brett then returned home to Arizona.

Brett is passionate about fighting for those who are wrongly accused, especially the less fortunate. He has helped thousands of people who have needed an experienced attorney to give them a voice, when facing allegations charged by others. He has successfully litigated every type of criminal offense in Arizona courts. Brett has represented clients in multiple trials and has achieved countless not-guilty(s) and favorable trial verdicts. One of Brett’s former clients was charged with several aggravated assault(s) class 3 dangerous felony(s). This client was looking at mandatory prison time of 10 to 20 years, if lost at trial. His client was involved in a domestic violence incident and was accused of shooting dozens of bullets into a home. Brett gave his client a voice and successfully argued his clients point of view and defenses before the court and jury. The jury found Brett’s client “Not Guilty” of all charge(s). Brett’s numerous courtroom experience(s) allow him to provide a passionate yet persuasive approach to seeking justice for his clients. He believes in mastering the facts and law in each case so that he can advocate successfully.

Brett realizes that individuals are not perfect, and we are all capable of making mistakes in judgment. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance.
