How to Obtain Legal Information About a Detainee at Eloy Detention Center

Eloy Detention Center Visitation Hours

Only certain individuals are allowed to visit with detainees. These individuals include the following.

  • Immediate family members, such as parents, siblings, children, and spouses
  • Other relatives, such as grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends
  • Children and stepchildren who are minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian
  • Attorneys and other legal representatives, as well as legal assistants, interpreters, and messengers

In order for detained nationals to receive adult visitors, they must request that those visitors be placed on an approved visitation list. Below are the following visitation times.

  • Legal visitation: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Weekends from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Social visitation: Held on weekends and federal holidays

Visitation lasts for at least one hour. Visitors may see only one detainee in the visitation area per visit. Detainees may have up to four visitors at one time. In order to enter the visiting room, visitors are subject to a metal detector screening.

Can Consulate Representatives Visit Clients at Eloy Detention Center?

Yes, consular officials may visit clients in ICE custody. However, these visits must be arranged prior to visitation. In order to arrange these visits, you must call the ICE Supervisory Deportation Officer at 520-464-3000.
