ARYLIN BALLESTEROS, ESQ.

Arylin Ballesteros, Esq., is a Mother, a first-generation lawtina, and an advocate for minority groups. She lived in Mexico for the first ten years of her life. She had a great academic record and her Mother decided that Arylin would be better served if she studied in the United States. Arylin began her education in the U.S. at the tender age of 10 years old. She quickly learned the language and excelled academically. Young Arylin dreamed of helping the voices in her community be heard. She believed that becoming an attorney would provide her with the best platform to assist her community.

In 2013, Arylin graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Criminology. During her time at ASU, she served as a board member in several multicultural organizations. Including the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO), where she served as the vice president and created an event tailored to minority students at ASU. This event became a yearly event hosted by NALFO.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Western School of Law, in 2022, a semester earlier than her peers. She was top 13% of her class and served as an associate writer/editor for her law school’s journal. During her time in law school, Arylin continued her involvement in multicultural groups. She served as the Vice President of the Latinx Law Student Association, formerly known as La Raza Student Organization. She was awarded several recognitions including a Merit Scholarship, Dean’s List, Pro bono Honor Society, and Public Service Honor Society. She’s interned with Community Law Project and was a Certified Legal Intern at the San Diego’s District Attorney’s office in their Major Narcotics and Juvenile division. While studying for the bar, Arylin worked as a law clerk in a firm specializing in family law.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her fur baby Finn. She loves traveling and is a self-proclaimed daredevil. She has been skydiving and bungee jumping. She is always seeking her next adventure.
