“TO FOREGROUND THE VOICES OF PEOPLE OF COLOR IN THE BORDERLANDS”
Dr. Maldonado and Ray Ybarra Maldonado of Ybarra Maldonado Law Group founded the Border Crit Institute to support and empower communities though education and advocacy. The institute is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering unapologetic resistance. Working closely with YMLG, the Institute creates social justice educational content and extends legal resources to immigrant and marginalized communities in the borderlands and beyond.
